Just got the dnx6980 about a month ago for my jeep. I would strongly suggest looking for a different unit. the system lags horrible, when it isn't locking up or restarting. The GPS has to recalculate routes every time you turn it on (which takes about 3 minutes)- clearly the processor is weak and can't be upgraded. they claim to have a software update out, but I can't locate it (Kenwood's website is not helpful, it directs you to garmin- which doesn't list the unit)sound is ok, though less powerful than the factory unit.ipod connection (hardwire) takes a minute to "read the ipod" each time you start up (and it has to launch the garmin). overall, I'd give it an ...
